well...it's pretty easy to add people or their artwork. For example, click on my avatar or my name (Sheenah), that will lead you to my page. Then, once you're there, on the right side of my profile, there's a list of things you can do :

"Watch this deviant"

"Send a note"

"Donate a subscription"

If you want to watch me, for example, you only have to click on "watch this deviant" and that will lead to a new page with the list of people you are watching. There, you can arrange the people that you're watching, by categorizing them (let's say..."My close friends" "Resident Evil artists", etc...) if you want.

Once you're done with that, you'll get messages notifying you that the people you're watching have submitted new artwork or wrote a new entry in their journal.

As for adding art to your favorites, it's pretty simple. If you're still on my page (still an example), you can go in my gallery by clicking "Gallery" on the right side of the page. There, you'll see everything that I have submitted. If there's something that interests you, just click on the picture. This will lead you to the picture page. On the LEFT side of the page, there's a list of things you can do.

"Full view" (to see the picture in its original format)

"Add to favorites" (THAT'S what you want to do. Just click on it, and it'll be done in a second)

"Collect" (you have the possibility to create collections...if you want to know more about it, just tell me...)

"Share this/Blog It" (never done that...)

"Download" (if you want to save it on your computer)

So..once you've clicked on "add to my favorites" you can go back to your own page and see that the picture was added to your "Faves" section.

That's pretty much about it...^^
